Uploading Files

Upload files to CrystalQore via the Upload button or drag-and-drop. Multiple files supported with progress indicator.

Uploading Files

Upload files to CrystalQore to store, organize, and share them with your team. You can upload via the Upload button or by drag-and-drop—both methods support multiple files at once.

Upload Methods

Using the Upload Button

Click the "Upload" button — Located in the Files area, usually in the header or toolbar.

Select files — A file picker opens. Choose one or more files from your computer.

Confirm — Click Open or Select to start the upload. Files are uploaded to your tenant.

Drag-and-Drop

Drag files — Select files or folders on your computer and drag them.

Drop into the file area — Drop the files onto the CrystalQore file management area (the main content area where files are listed).

Upload starts — Files are uploaded automatically. A progress indicator shows status.

Drag-and-drop works when you drop files anywhere in the file area. The upload area may highlight when you hover with files to indicate it's ready to accept the drop.

Multiple Files

  • Batch upload — Select multiple files in the file picker, or drag multiple files at once
  • Progress — Each file shows upload progress; you can continue working while uploads complete
  • Background — Large uploads may continue in the background; you can navigate away and return to check status

Progress Indicator

During upload:

  • A progress bar or percentage shows upload status
  • You may see per-file progress when uploading multiple files
  • Completed uploads appear in the file list once finished
  • Failed uploads may show an error message; try again or check file size and type

Storage and Security

  • Tenant isolation — Files are stored securely and associated with your tenant
  • Access control — Only you (and those you share with) can access your files
  • Quota — Uploads count against your tenant's 10GB storage limit

Tips

  • Check file size — Very large files may take longer; ensure you're within any per-file limits
  • Supported types — Stick to supported formats (PDF, DOCX, images, etc.) for best compatibility
  • Organize after upload — Use folders or naming to keep files organized as your library grows
