Status Details

Available (Green)

You're signed in and ready to take calls and messages. Use this when you're at your desk and available for communication.

Busy (Red)

You're in a call or meeting. Others see that you're likely occupied. Use this to indicate you don't want to be interrupted, or it may be set automatically when you're in a call.

Away (Amber)

You've stepped away from your desk. You might respond to messages later. Use this when you're in a meeting, on a break, or otherwise unavailable for immediate response.

Do Not Disturb (Red with Line)

Suppress notifications—no sounds, no desktop alerts. Others see you're in DND and may avoid contacting you. Use when you need focused work time or during important meetings.

DND silences incoming notifications. Ensure you check your notification center when you return—you may have missed calls or messages.

Offline (Gray)

You're not signed in to CrystalQore. Your last known status may persist briefly, but you won't receive real-time notifications until you log back in.

Setting Your Status

  1. Click your avatar in the header bar
  2. Open the status dropdown
  3. Select the desired status (Available, Busy, Away, Do Not Disturb)

Your status updates immediately and is visible in the Presence Panel to your team.

Automatic Status Updates

Some statuses may update automatically:

  • Busy — When you're in an active call (WebRTC or desk phone, when integrated)
  • Away — After a period of inactivity (if your organization has configured idle detection)
  • Offline — When you log out or lose connection

Check with your administrator for which automatic behaviors are enabled.

Interpreting Others' Status

  • Available — Safe to call or message
  • Busy — Consider messaging instead of calling, or wait
  • Away — Expect delayed response
  • Do Not Disturb — Avoid contacting unless urgent
  • Offline — They won't see your message until they return
