Instant Meetings

Instant meetings let you create a video conference room in one click—no scheduling required. Ideal for ad-hoc calls, quick syncs, or when you need to meet with someone right away.

Starting an Instant Meeting

Open the Meetings page — Navigate to Meetings in the CrystalQore sidebar or header.

Click "Start Meeting" — A meeting room is created immediately and you're taken into the room.

Copy the meeting link — The meeting link is displayed prominently. Copy it to share with participants via chat, email, or any other channel.

Before Joining

When you start a meeting, you'll see a preview screen before entering:

  • Camera preview — See yourself to check framing and lighting
  • Microphone preview — Verify your mic is working and adjust volume if needed
  • Device selection — Switch camera or microphone if you have multiple devices

When ready, click Join to enter the meeting room.

In the Meeting Room

Once joined:

  • Your video — Your camera feed is displayed (or a placeholder if camera is off)
  • Participants — Other participants appear as they join
  • Meeting link — Copy the link again at any time to share with more people
  • Controls — Mute, camera, screen share, participants list, and leave (see Meeting Controls)

Share the meeting link with anyone who should join:

  • Paste in a chat message
  • Add to a calendar invite (or create a scheduled meeting instead)
  • Share in a project management or collaboration tool

Anyone with the link can join, including guests who don't have a CrystalQore account. No download is required—they join in the browser.

Tips

  • Test before sharing — Start a meeting, join yourself from another device or incognito window to verify the link works
  • Share early — Send the link as soon as you have it so participants can join when ready
  • Copy again — The link stays the same for the duration of the meeting; you can copy it again from within the room if needed
