Dial numbers from the browser and have your desk phone ring. Trigger calls from the header bar or by clicking phone numbers anywhere in CrystalQore.

Click2Dial

Click2Dial lets you initiate calls from CrystalQore while your desk phone handles the audio. Type a number in the Click2Dial input or click a phone number anywhere in the app—your PBX extension rings first, and once you answer, the call connects to the destination.

How It Works

  1. You enter a number or click a phone number in CrystalQore
  2. Your PBX extension (desk phone) rings
  3. You answer the call on your desk phone
  4. The call connects to the destination number

Click2Dial requires FusionPBX integration. Your administrator must configure the PBX connection before you can use this feature.

Where to Use Click2Dial

Header Bar Input

The most direct way to place a Click2Dial call:

  1. Locate the Click2Dial input in the header bar
  2. Type or paste the number you want to call
  3. Press Enter or click the dial button
  4. Your desk phone rings—answer it to connect

Click Any Phone Number

Phone numbers throughout CrystalQore are clickable:

  • Contacts — Click a contact's phone number
  • Call detail records (CDR) — Click a number in the PBX Calls or Web Calls tab
  • Chat threads — Click phone numbers in messages
  • Other areas — Any displayed phone number can trigger Click2Dial

When you click a number, your desk phone rings immediately. Answer to connect.

Dial Format

Use standard dialing formats:

  • Local numbers5551234
  • With area code5555551234
  • With country code15555551234 (for North America)
  • International — Include the full country code (e.g., 442071234567 for London)

Your PBX may enforce dialing rules. If a call fails, check with your administrator for supported formats.

Troubleshooting

Desk Phone Doesn't Ring

  • Verify FusionPBX is integrated and your extension is assigned
  • Confirm your desk phone is registered and not in DND
  • Check that the Click2Dial input or click target shows the correct number

Call Fails After Answering

  • Ensure the destination number is valid and dialable
  • Check PBX dial plan and outbound routing rules
  • Confirm trunk/line availability for outbound calls

Numbers Not Clickable

  • Refresh the page; phone numbers are detected automatically
  • Some areas (e.g., raw text) may not support click-to-dial—use the header input instead
