Mobile App Installation

This guide walks you through installing and configuring the CrystalQore mobile app on iOS and Android. You'll need your organization's CrystalQore server URL and your login credentials.

iOS Installation

App Store (Production)

Open the App Store — On your iPhone or iPad.

Search for "CrystalQore" — Or use the direct link provided by your administrator.

Tap Get / Install — Download and install the app.

Open the app — Proceed to configuration.

TestFlight (Beta)

For beta or pre-release builds:

Install TestFlight — From the App Store, if not already installed.

Accept beta invite — Use the invite link from your administrator.

Install CrystalQore — Install from within TestFlight.

Open the app — Proceed to configuration.

Android Installation

Play Store (Production)

Open the Play Store — On your Android device.

Search for "CrystalQore" — Or use the direct link provided by your administrator.

Tap Install — Download and install the app.

Open the app — Proceed to configuration.

APK Install (Side-load)

For APK installations (e.g., enterprise distribution):

Download the APK — From your administrator or CrystalQore distribution portal.

Enable "Install from unknown sources" — In Settings → Security (or Apps), allow installation from your download source.

Open the APK file — Tap to start installation.

Confirm installation — Follow the prompts to complete install.

Open the app — Proceed to configuration.

Only install APKs from trusted sources. Verify the source with your IT department before installing.

Configuration

After installing, configure the app to connect to your CrystalQore instance.

Enter CrystalQore server URL — On first launch, you'll see a URL field. Enter your organization's CrystalQore URL (e.g., https://crystalqore.yourcompany.com). Do not include a trailing slash.

Tap Connect or Continue — The app will validate the URL and load the login screen.

Log in — Enter your email and password. If your organization uses multiple tenants, select the correct tenant or domain.

Grant push notification permissions — When prompted, allow notifications to receive alerts for new messages, calls, and other events.

Server URL Format

Push Notifications

Push notifications require:

  • Permission granted — Allow when the app prompts
  • Internet connectivity — Device must be able to reach push servers
  • Background refresh — On iOS, background app refresh helps delivery (optional)

If you deny notifications, you can enable them later in your device Settings → CrystalQore → Notifications.

Troubleshooting
