Managing Notifications
Manage your CrystalQore notifications from the bell icon dropdown or the full notification center. Filter by type, use quick actions, and keep your list organized.
Opening Notifications
Bell Icon Dropdown
- Click the bell icon in the header bar
- The dropdown opens with recent notifications
- The badge on the bell shows the unread count
Full Notification Center
- Visit /notifications in the app, or
- Use the See all or Notification center link from the bell dropdown
The full center shows the complete list with more filtering and management options.
Filters
Filter notifications by type:
| Filter | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every notification |
| Unread | Only unread notifications |
| Missed Calls | Missed call alerts |
| Messages | Chat and SMS messages |
| Fax | Incoming fax notifications |
| Calendar | Reminders and meeting invites |
Use filters to focus on what matters—for example, only missed calls when catching up after a meeting.
Quick Actions
Many notifications support quick actions:
| Notification Type | Actions |
|---|---|
| Missed call | Call Back, Mark read |
| New message | Reply, Mark read |
| Calendar reminder | View Event, Mark read |
| Meeting invite | View Event, Accept, Decline, Mark read |
| Fax | View, Mark read |
Click the action to respond immediately without opening another screen.
Marking as Read
- Single notification — Click Mark read (or the notification itself in some layouts)
- Mark all as read — Use the Mark all as read option in the dropdown or notification center
Read notifications typically lose the unread styling and may no longer count toward the badge.
Deleting Notifications
- Single notification — Use the delete (trash) icon or Delete action
- Clear all — Use Clear all to remove all notifications (or all in the current filter)
Clearing or deleting notifications removes them from the list. You may still access the underlying content (e.g., the call in CDR, the message in chat) from its original location.
Notification Center Features
At /notifications you get:
- Full list — All notifications, not just recent
- Pagination or infinite scroll — Navigate through older items
- Bulk actions — Mark all as read, clear all
- Persistent filters — Keep your filter selection as you browse
Best Practices
- Review regularly — Don't let unread count grow; triage daily
- Use filters — Focus on missed calls or messages when returning from meetings
- Quick actions — Use Call Back and Reply to respond without leaving the notification view
Next Steps
- Desktop Notifications — Enable browser notifications and sounds
- Settings > Notifications — Master toggle and per-type controls
- Call Records — View missed calls in CDR
