Rich Text Editor
CrystalQore Notes use a rich text editor powered by TipTap. Write with full formatting support—headings, lists, emphasis, code blocks, and more. The toolbar provides quick access to all formatting options.
Formatting Options
Text Formatting
| Option | Description | Typical shortcut |

Headings
- Heading 1 (H1) — Largest heading for major sections
- Heading 2 (H2) — Sub-sections
- Heading 3 (H3) — Sub-sub-sections
Use headings to structure longer notes and make them easier to scan.
Lists

Task lists let you create checklists and mark items complete as you go.
Block Elements

Links and Alignment
- Links — Add hyperlinks to URLs or text
- Text alignment — Left, center, right (when supported)
Using the Toolbar
The editor toolbar appears above or within the note. Click any icon to apply that formatting to selected text (or at the cursor for block-level formatting).
- Select text first, then click a format (e.g., bold) to apply
- For block elements (headings, lists), place the cursor in the paragraph and click the format
- For task lists, create a list and use the task list option to convert items to checkboxes
Tips
- Keyboard shortcuts — Use shortcuts like Ctrl+B for bold to work faster
- Structure long notes — Use H1, H2, H3 to create a clear outline
- Code snippets — Use code blocks for technical notes or snippets
- Task lists — Great for meeting notes, action items, and personal to-dos
