Listen to recorded calls in the CDR and download recordings for offline access.

Call Recordings

CrystalQore stores call recordings when your PBX is configured to record calls. You can listen to recordings directly in the Call Detail Records (CDR) or download them for offline access.

Listening to Recordings in CDR

Finding Recorded Calls

  1. Go to Call Records (CDR)
  2. Open the PBX Calls tab
  3. Look for calls with a play button or recording indicator
  4. Expand the row to reveal the recording player

Playing a Recording

  1. Locate the call with a recording
  2. Expand the row (click the row or expand arrow)
  3. Click the play button
  4. Use the player controls:
    • Play / Pause — Start or pause playback
    • Seek — Move to a specific point in the recording
    • Volume — Adjust playback volume

Recordings appear only for calls that your PBX recorded. Recording availability and retention depend on your PBX configuration.

Downloading Recordings

For offline access or archival:

  1. Expand the call row in PBX Calls
  2. Locate the Download option (often next to the play button)
  3. Click to download the recording file

Recordings are typically provided in a standard audio format (e.g., WAV, MP3). Use any media player to listen offline.

Troubleshooting

No Play Button on a Call

  • The call may not have been recorded by the PBX
  • Check with your administrator about recording rules and retention
  • Ensure you have permission to access the recording

Playback Fails or Won't Load

  • Verify your browser supports the audio format
  • Check your network connection
  • Try refreshing the page and playing again

Download Not Available

  • Download may be restricted by policy
  • Contact your administrator if you need offline access
