Contacts Overview

The Contacts module gives you a central place to manage business contacts. Store names, phone numbers, email addresses, and other details—then call, email, or message them directly from CrystalQore.

Three Contact Views

My Contacts

My Contacts are your personal contacts. You create and manage them yourself. They are private by default and visible only to you unless you share them.

Use My Contacts for:

  • External customers and partners
  • Personal business connections
  • Anyone not in your internal directory

Shared with Me

Shared with Me lists contacts that other team members have shared with you. You can view and use these contacts but typically cannot edit them unless the sharer grants permission.

Use this view to:

  • Access contacts shared by colleagues
  • Collaborate on shared account lists
  • Work with team-curated contact lists

Internal

Internal contacts are your team directory—synced automatically from your PBX (FusionPBX). This includes extensions, users, and other internal entries. Internal contacts are available to everyone in your organization.

Use Internal for:

  • Finding colleagues by name or extension
  • One-click calling to internal numbers
  • Chatting with internal team members

Internal contacts are read-only from CrystalQore. Changes to users and extensions are made in the PBX and sync to Contacts.

Core Capabilities

Across all views, you can:

  • Create — Add new contacts with full details
  • Edit — Update names, numbers, addresses, and notes
  • Search — Find contacts quickly by name, company, or other fields
  • Organize — Use views and (where supported) groups or tags
  • Quick actions — Call, email, or message contacts with one click

Quick Actions

From the contact list or detail view:

Quick actions depend on contact type. Internal contacts support chat; external contacts support call and email where numbers and addresses are available.
