Joining Meetings

You can join a CrystalQore meeting whether you have an account or not. Authenticated users are identified automatically; guests enter their name and join in the browser—no download or registration required.

Authenticated Users

If you're logged into CrystalQore:

Click the meeting link — Open the link from a calendar invite, chat message, or email.

Automatic identification — You're identified by your CrystalQore account; no need to enter your name.

Preview devices — Check your camera and microphone. Switch devices if needed.

Click Join — Enter the meeting room. Your video and audio are shared based on your settings.

Guests (No Account Required)

Guests can join without a CrystalQore account:

Click the meeting link — Open the link in any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

Enter your name — Type the name you want displayed to other participants.

Preview devices — Allow camera and microphone access when prompted. Preview your video and audio.

Click Join — Enter the meeting. You appear to others as a guest with the name you provided.

Guests join directly in the browser. No software download or app installation is required. Ensure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge) for the best experience.

  • Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge — Use a recent version for full support
  • Camera and microphone — Required for video and audio; the browser will prompt for permission
  • Stable connection — A reliable internet connection improves quality

Permission Prompts

When joining, your browser may ask for:

  • Camera access — To share your video
  • Microphone access — To share your audio
  • Screen share (optional) — Only when you choose to share your screen during the meeting

If you deny camera or microphone, you can still join as audio-only or view-only, depending on meeting settings.
