Fax Queue

The Queue tab shows faxes being processed. View status (queued, sending, success, failed), retry failed faxes, and see page counts.

Fax Queue

The Queue tab shows faxes that are being processed—queued, currently sending, or those that have failed. Use it to monitor outgoing fax status and retry failed faxes with one click.

Queue Statuses

StatusMeaning
QueuedFax is waiting to be sent
SendingFax is being transmitted to the recipient
SuccessFax was delivered successfully
FailedFax could not be delivered

Each fax in the queue displays its status so you can see progress at a glance.

Page Count

The page count is displayed for each fax in the queue. This helps you:

  • Confirm multi-page documents were uploaded correctly
  • Verify the correct document was selected
  • Troubleshoot if a fax fails (e.g., unexpected page count)

Retrying Failed Faxes

If a fax fails:

  1. Go to the Queue tab
  2. Find the fax with Failed status
  3. Click Retry (or the retry button/icon)
  4. The fax is re-queued and sent again

Retrying is useful for transient failures (busy line, temporary network issue). If it fails repeatedly, verify the fax number and that the recipient's fax machine is operational.

When to Use the Queue

  • Monitor sends — Check that faxes are progressing from queued to sending to success
  • Retry failures — One-click retry for failed faxes
  • Troubleshoot — See which faxes are stuck or failing; contact support if many faxes fail

Tips

  • Wait before retrying — If the recipient's machine was busy, wait a few minutes before retrying
  • Verify number — Before retrying, confirm the fax number is correct
  • Check file — Ensure the original file is still valid and not corrupted
