Setting Up Your Profile
Configure your CrystalQore profile: personal info, contact details, avatar, and security settings including password change and session management.
Setting Up Your Profile
Your profile lets colleagues find and contact you more easily. You can add personal information, upload an avatar, and manage security settings from a single place.
Opening Your Profile
- Click your avatar in the header bar
- Select Profile from the dropdown menu
The profile page opens with tabs for Personal, Contact, and Security.
Personal Information
In the Personal tab, fill in:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Your display name (first and last) |
| Title | Job title or role |
| Department | Team or department name |
These fields help others identify you in chat, calls, and the contact directory.
Contact Information
In the Contact tab, add:
- Phone number — Your primary or extension number
- Address — Mailing or office address (optional)
- Timezone — Your local timezone for scheduling and availability
Accurate timezone setting helps teammates know when you're available and avoids scheduling meetings at inconvenient times.
Avatar Image
Upload a profile photo so colleagues can easily recognize you:
- In the profile view, locate the Avatar or Profile picture section
- Click Upload or Change
- Select an image file (typically JPG or PNG)
- Crop or adjust if prompted
- Save changes
Tips:
- Use a clear, professional headshot
- Recommended size: at least 200×200 pixels
- Square images work best
Security Tab
The Security tab lets you manage your password and sessions.
Change Password
To update your password:
- Open the profile and go to the Security tab
- Find Change password (or similar)
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm the new password
- Click Save or Update
Password Requirements
Your new password must meet these rules:
- At least 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character (e.g.,
!@#$%^&*)
If your password doesn't meet these requirements, the system will reject it. Try a passphrase or a password manager to generate a strong password.
Active Sessions
The Security tab may show your active sessions—devices or browsers where you're currently logged in. You can:
- View when and where each session was started
- Sign out individual sessions
- Sign out all sessions — Logs you out everywhere except the current device
Use "Sign out all sessions" if you suspect unauthorized access or have lost a device. You'll need to log in again on each device.
Saving Changes
After editing any profile section, click Save or Update to apply your changes. Some fields may update immediately; others may require a refresh.
