Archiving & Search

Beyond sending and receiving messages, CrystalQore's SMS module includes tools to organize your conversations: archive threads you don't need right now, search for specific messages, select messages for bulk actions, and clear conversation history.

Archiving Conversations

Archive conversations to move them out of your main inbox without deleting them. Archived conversations are hidden from the default view but remain accessible.

Archive a Conversation

1. Open the conversation you want to archive
2. Click the archive button (or access it from the conversation options menu)
3. The conversation moves to the Archived section

View Archived Conversations

1. In the SMS sidebar, click the Archived filter button
2. Archived conversations appear in the list
3. Click any archived conversation to read its messages

Unarchive a Conversation

1. Open an archived conversation
2. Click Unarchive from the conversation options
3. The conversation returns to your main inbox

Searching Messages

Search Conversations

Use the search bar in the SMS sidebar to filter conversations:

1. Click the search input at the top of the conversation list
2. Type a contact name, phone number, or keyword
3. The conversation list filters to show matching threads

Search Within a Conversation

To find a specific message inside a conversation:

1. Open the conversation
2. Click the search icon in the conversation header
3. Type your search term
4. Matching messages are highlighted in the thread

Selecting and Deleting Messages

You can select individual messages within a conversation for bulk actions.

Select Messages

1. Open a conversation
2. Long-press or use the selection mode to check individual messages
3. Selected messages are highlighted with a checkbox

Copy Selected Messages

With messages selected, click Copy to copy the text content of all selected messages to your clipboard.

Delete Selected Messages

With messages selected, click Delete to remove them from the conversation. Deleted messages are removed permanently.

Clear Chat History

To remove all messages from a conversation without deleting the conversation itself:

1. Open the conversation
2. Access the conversation options (menu or header actions)
3. Click Clear Chat
4. Confirm the action

This clears your personal view of the conversation. The conversation thread remains, and new messages will still appear.
